Thank you for publishing. My grandmother was Gladys Marjoram (nee Popey). I remember her telling me about the death of her brother Charles. I remember visiting Neatishead as a child to see Grace Popey who was married to William Popey, Charles’ other sibling.
Dear Jackie
Thank you so much for taking the time to be in touch via out website – it is always good to hear about family memories and connections. I note we have your grandmother named as Gladys Maud – this must have come from the census / parish records – but you knew her as Gladys Marjoram – what an unusual name.
Kind regards
Claire (Chair, NIBCHG)
